Donnie Munro

Donnie is a Partner at Eventus Law. Having previously worked alongside colleagues Paul Macdonald, Craig Ramsay and Aiden Paterson at leading national law firm Harper Macleod LLP (where he was Senior Partner and leader of their Corporate, Commercial & Regulatory Group) he joined Eventus to continue advising founders and family-owned businesses through key stages of their business journey, from implementing succession plans to negotiating and completing company sales.

His work includes assisting founders and families with appropriate legal structures to best manage the wealth generated from succession planning implementation.

Donnie’s contribution to the family-owned business sector was recognised at the Scottish Family Business Awards, where he was awarded the Chairman’s Award for creating one of the first post-graduate university courses in the UK dealing with family business and the law.
