Biography
Owner-managed and family-owned businesses make up the majority of the Scottish economy, and they all, sooner or later, face the same question: what happens when the owner wants to step back and retire? Craig co-founded Eventus to help clients answer that question.
His practice covers advising owners and businesses on sales to third parties (both trade buyers and private equity-backed consolidators), MBOs/VIMBOs and other options for passing ownership to the next generation of the family, typically as part of a wider estate planning exercise.
Craig is also ranked Band 1 by Chambers for his legal work in the Healthcare sector in Scotland. He provides in-house legal support to one of the UK’s largest care home developers, Morrison Community Care Group. At his previous firm, he acted for Clyde Munro on its Scotland-wide dental practice acquisition programme.
